Located directly in the city center, this hotel offers a superb location in the pedestrian area of the charming old town. the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are finished to a very high standard. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the buffet breakfast in the indoor courtyard was delicious, offering a variety of options including made, to, order eggs. the hotel has a spa centre and an atmospheric bar area.
The kitchen smells from the ground, floor dining room occasionally drifted to the upper floors.

Very friendly staff. Nice extra touches such as a complimentary drink voucher. Quite some variation in rooms, whilst mine was comfortable, clean, and a great bathroom, my colleagues' was simply outstanding; high ceilings, wall art etc. Good food in the restaurant and lovely breakfast. I was there on business but I'll be back for leisure I suspect.

The location and building is stunning, although a bit difficult to access, but it is worth the effort.
Breakfast variety and quality was subpar for a hotel of that category despite the low season..

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, always addressing us by name, which made us feel welcomed and valued. The rooms were absolutely amazing, offering plenty of space and a comfortable bed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a large whirlpool in our room, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The hotel itself, a beautiful palais, had a charming breakfast room that was perfect for starting our day. Additionally, the lobby/breakfast room provided an ideal space for conducting business.
Couldn't fault anything about this hotel.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated Renaissance palace with a great location in downtown Klagenfurt on the pedestrian only Alter Platz. There were several restaurants within walking distance, including a wonderful traditional "Carinithian" style restaurant in the Landhaus courtyard right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel breakfast that was included in our room rate was quite extensive (more than a traditional continental breakfast) and I was happy to see they had yogurt and fresh fruit and hot items such as omelettes that were made to order. The mostly- english speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a nice, fairly large room with hardwood floors and a beautiful marbe bathroom.
The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the lack of air conditioning or availability of a fan in the guest rooms. The temperature in Klagenfurt during our stay was 28-29c and our room was on the highest floor and would get very warm. We had the windows open at night, but it was still quite warm in the room and could be noisy with the surrounding restaurants and bars. A fan would have been a nice option if air conditioning is not available or perhaps moving to a lower floor witht eh stone walls. The other areas of the hotel did not seem to be too hot.

The room was spacious and clean, plus the breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from. The hotel was located in the heart of the city, which made it easy to explore the area by foot. One of the best things was the helpful and friendly staff who always seemed to be available for any needs or questions.
The wifi was not available in the room which was inconvenient and outdated. parking was located at a nearby garage, which meant there was no easy access to the hotel for loading and unloading of luggage.

A very nice hotel in the middle of Klagenfurt. The rooms are well equipped and tidy. I The hotel itself is in an old building. The stuff is helpful and polite.
The only negative thing to mention is that the bathroom with the toilet within has no roof, so everything what is happening inside can be heard in the room too.

The hotel has a great spa with an amazing view and a very warm atmosphere. the staff is very helpful and they make you feel welcomed. the breakfast is plentiful and has a great variety of options to choose from. the location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. the rooms are very cozy with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. the hotel also has a nice garden where you can relax and enjoy the view.
The hotel doesn't offer any local or regional beer in the minibar, which I found disappointing. There's also a bad smell coming from the kitchen that sometimes reaches to the upper floors.

Luxurious amenities and impeccable service make this hotel a top choice for a luxurious stay in the heart of the city. the sauna and private facilities were exceptional, and the buffet breakfast had wonderful options. the room, with its exclusive advantages and modern decor, was nothing short of amazing.
The only minor downside was the lack of lounge area in the bar, but that was made up for by the restaurant's exquisite cuisine. the location was perfect, with everything being easily accessible.

Beautiful hotel in a very central location. A wonderful combination of the old with the new. The bedroom and bathroom were a very generous size and fitted out to a high standard. Excellent breakfast buffet. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The only negative on this hotel is that it has no leisure facilities at all.it showed a sauna& steam room on the web site but this was a false statement.
No relaxation or leisure facilities.also none of the staff spoke English.
